The wonderful people in the MLM world (multi-level marketing) have realized that they can make millions off of the ignorance of people concerning nutrition.  Acai berries are good for you but they are in no way worth the ridiculous prices that some of these companies are charging.

The acai berry has very high nutritional value like many other fruits.  It is especially high in anti-oxidants which prevent free radicals from forming in your body.  To be honest I remember learning all about free radical in exercise physiology and as a senior in college I still found it hard to understand.  Just know that you want the anti-oxidants is one of the great benefits of acai berries.

How much should acai berry juice cost?

You can expect to pay a little more for it becuase it is not native to our country.  The acai berry is native to the Amazon and has to be shipped here so the price will go up a little bit.  This does not mean you should be paying $20 bucks for a drink.  Don’t be fooled by the scam that MLM people are trying to trick you with.  They charge that much because that’s the way they get rich, the acai berry products do not cost that much for them, they simply have a huge mark-up on them.
